First step in dismantling of Roe v. Wade

Posted by Sal on November 7, 2005

Tomorrow may mark the first step to the dismantling of the horribly-reasoned and dubious piece of Constitutional Scholarship known as Roe v. Wade.

California has a ballot initiative for Parental Notification rights, which is expected to pass. It is expected that various liberal groups such as Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and others will file suite as soon as the initiative becomes law. This may end up going to the Supreme Court, but a newly-constituted Supreme Court of Chief Justice John Roberts and Justice Samuel Alito joining Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas, who may very well vote to uphold the measure.

The wildcard will be Justice Anthony Kennedy. Kennedy has been known to support more restrictions on Abortion in past decisions, but his more recent liberal bent is cause for concern.

MSM in Sharp Decline

More evidence of the decline of MSM. With newspaper readership down 2.6% in six months, one wonders why the media doesn’t wake up and realize that they are alienating more than half their potential readership with their biased reporting and their constant promotion of the liberal agenda.

Get Serious (I’ll Settle for Honest Though)

France in chaos

Posted by Sal on November 7, 2005

It now looks like the riots of Paris have spread across the country to over 300 towns and cities. This is looking more and more like a watershed event in Europe. The War on Terror is reaching new heights, with secular Europe as the target. Watch for this to spread beyond France within a few days.

I wish this clown would run. It would be fun watching a Hollywood lib get smoked in Kaleefornia.

Peace Comes Through Strength N’Est-Ce Pas?

Posted by Mike on November 7, 2005

Sometimes you can only understand the folly of your “logic” when it is applied to your own circumstances. Ouch! For some reason, I don’t think the lesson will be learned.
