Huckabee’s Home Run

Posted by Mike on June 6, 2007

This moment from last night was so inspiring it deserves its own post. When one of the journalists actually asked Mike Huckabee for detailed information regarding his theological opinion on how God created the world, the candidate hit it out of the park. Huckabee’s eloquent defense of his faith coupled with Wolf Blitzer’s cluelessness is priceless.

As a person who deeply believes in God, I found this to be very encouraging. I was unable to watch this last night, but read the reviews and was hoping to see this. Thanks for posting it.

God Bless Mike Huckabee! I believe in human evolution, but I still think it was the will of a higher power and that creation is still in mid-process. But, why I love Huckabee in this instance was the way he handled the ridiculousness of the question and Wolf’s ridiculous follow-up. It’s the bigotry that the MSM have towards people of faith being thrown right back at them that I loved! Sweet.

Very inspirational and impressive comments! Mike Huckabee is showing his strengths as a candidate and we may very well be looking at 2008 VP material.

He has been one of the winners of the sound byte campaign thus far and I look forward to hearing more from him.
