Sarko The Cowboy

When Nicholas Sarkozy ran for the French Presidency, his socialist opponents tried to brand him as “Sarko the American.” Unfortunately for the socialists, this political argument was about as about as effective as their economic policies and the U.S. now has a friend living at Elysee Palace. That doesn’t make him American though.
Neither does the fact that Nicholas Sarkozy is arresting the thugs who rioted in Paris last November rather than appeasing them like Jacques Chirac would have done, but you’ve got to admit that it’s probably one of the most un-French things ever done by a French President. Even more impressive is the reaction Sarko caused in socialist circles by his commitment to law enforcement.
Tres bien Sarko!
