Boxer Hits the Pope

Posted by Ryan on April 18, 2008

Barbara Boxer is a complete b-tch!

Here Pope Benedict XVI, leader of over 1 billion Roman Catholics around the world and 65 million in the USA alone, has come to the United States for the first time in his Papacy bringing good will and reconciliation to all, when Ned Flanders himself Senator Sam Brownback wanted to pass a resolution hailing his visit for good will purposes.

Simple right?  Not in this Democrat Congress!

In steps the b-tch.

Apparently, the unabashedly pro-life Pontiff just couldn’t have the US Senate pass a resolution simply cheering his visit containing the phrase:

“Whereas Pope Benedict XVI has spoken out for the weak and vulnerable, witnessing to the value of each and every human life.”

without Boxer threatening to sink the resolution!

Brownback still wanted this thing to fly through while the Pope’s still here so he agreed to take the last clause out, cutting the part about “witnessing to the value of each and every human life.”  Despicable for Boxer; weak-kneed on Brownback’s part.

A Nadir for a Macabre Pro-Choice Society

Posted by Ryan on April 18, 2008

This story is scary crazy.

I’m not going to post any pictures regarding Yale University’s Aliza Shvarts’ macabre “art project” where after artificially inseminating herself and inducing a miscarriage numerous times, she used the byproduct as part in each of her “art” works.

That is about as sick and twisted a thing as I’ve heard come from our university system, or anywhere else since Nick Berg.  Her own description of her project reveals a person so desperate to get noticed making a truly and deeply macabre point that it is less a struggling artist’s manifesto and more evidence that this woman is in need of serious therapy, Serotonin Re-uptake Inhibitors or anti-depressants, not monthly abortifacients nor a national audience.
