No White House For She Who Must Not Be Named

Posted by Mike on June 3, 2008

It isn’t really news since the race for the Democrat nomination has been over for a while now, but tonight it is official. She Who Must Not Be Named has been defeated. Barack Obama has the delegates necessary to win the Democrat nomination and will face John McCain in November.

Although it did not unfold the way we thought it would, the outcome is good news inasmuch as it is what good people all across the fruited plain have been praying for. She Who Must Not Be Named has been defeated and will not be elected to the Presidency this year. This glorious news is probably causing celebrations like this one, minus the John Edwards-looking lollipop people of course, to pop up all over the county:

SWMNBN’s loss is understandably causing many people to believe that her political career is dead. Codswallop in my opinion. I don’t know her ambition had enough human in it to die.

Hagrid reference aside, the bad news is that witch will return. She is already angling to be Obama’s running mate, something Obama should not even consider.  I know why he shouldn’t and so do you so I’ll just leave it at that.  The more likely scenario is that SWMNBN will endorse Obama and then do everything in her power to undermine the Democrat from behind the scenes so she can run again in 2012.

What’s also bad news is the fact that Obama would be a far worse as Commander in Chief than SWMNBN. SWMNBN is at least unprincipled enough to consider political reality when making decisions. This approach would lead to correct decisions at least once in a while. Obama on the other hand, is strongly committed to his Marxist worldview that underestimates the abilities of the American people and overestimates the good intentions of madmen abroad that would do our country harm.  As awful as SWMNBN would be as President, Obama would be worse.

The campaign begins tonight and I never thought I’d say this, but I pray that John McCain becomes the next President of the United States.
